Fuck me, in a few days we hit November. It’s funny how this time of year I always take note of how quickly time is flying by. So all the more important to make heavy with your efforts and keep pushing towards what you want to achieve.
I had a fairly relaxed day today which is important to take some time out. That said, it’s important I get back into it tomorrow as I’m conscious of how much I have to get done before the year ends. All great, but I can definitely tell when I don’t do anything and I get somewhat anxious for taking time out.
This is where patience comes into play.
Moving forward, I’m going to be reflecting on the following five areas throughout this journalling section:
- Mindset / Emotional State
- Focus / Discipline / Clarity
Covering these each day will build on the momentum so that I head towards the specific goals I’m aiming for with better focus and determination.
I might split these up into morning and nighttime reflection however I’ll have a think and come back to it over the next few days. It’s important to journal in the morning to asses how I’m thinking and feeling about the day ahead, noticing anything positive or negative so that it can be addressed before I start the day. Then in the evening, reflect how I tackled the day’s events and tasks at hand, being positive and critical at the same time.
This constant analysis develops a growth mindset as you are constantly aware of the process at hand ad building on it over time.
